On Wednesday 25th January at 7.15am a young woman was involved in a traffic collision on Thurlow Park Road near Birkbeck Hill SE21 8JS not far from the Tulse Hill one –way system.
She was taken to hospital by air ambulance but tragically died the following day.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision who has any information. Please call 020 8543 5157 or send a twitter message to @MetCC.

Businesses in West Norwood and Tulse Hill have just published plans for a Business Improvement District (BID). The launch at The Great North Wood pub was attended by local businesses and those from other BIDS in Lambeth. During May 2016 businesses in West Norwood and Tulse Hill confirm their voting details and ballot papers go out at the end of June with a closing date of 27th July 2016.
BID activities will be funded by a 1.5% levy on businesses with a rateable value of £6k or more.

Residents in Tulse Hill have come together to apply to the council to designate Tulse Hill area as a Neighbourhood Plan area under the Tulse Hill Forum. Neighbourhood planning powers give local residents a stronger voice in planning . There is now a 6 week statutory consultation period ending 5th December. To find out more about the process of Neighbourhood Planning come to a training session on Monday 2nd November 12.30 to 3pm at St Martins Scout Hut, High Trees SW2 3PU ( opposite Sheppard House near Upper Tulse Hill). The training covers the role of a Planning Forum and the process of creating a Neighbourhood Plan. All welcome and lunch provided .
On Thursday 26th November residents are coming together for a “Visioning the future for Tulse Hill event” and setting up a Steering Group. This session is 6.30-8.30pm in Jubilee Hall, Tulse Hill estate SW2 2LU (halfway between Craster Rd & Leander Rd entrances).

More workshops on upgrading Norwood Road are planned for Tuesday evenings on 13th October, 10th November and 8th December – same place & time. The workshops are interactive & informal with refreshments.
