Developers plans

Saturday 3rd March is a chance to see private developer’s plans for blocks of 100’s of flats at Knollys Goods Yard.  An earlier exhibition took place in December and local councillors have asked the developers to provide a model of their plans at Saturday’s event.  It is at The Railway pub SE27 9BW between  11am and  3pm . Free refreshments will be available.
The council published plans to maintain the current usage of Knollys GoodsYard  in October 2017

West Norwood is regenerating….

There is increased interest from the private sector to invest in West Norwood. A public meeting is taking place at 7.30pm on Tuesday 28th November at the Salvation Army SE27 9AW for local people to discuss the latest plans including :

Norwood Road between Lansdowne Hill & York Hill and the old Laundry site; Knollys Goods Yard; Chapel Rd/Knights Hill corner & Norwood High Street.

Big changes for Tulse Hill?

Developers have plans to build a new village on Network Rail’s site at Knollys Goods yard off Knollys Road close to Cameron Place SW16 2HQ. They are giving local people a chance to see  their proposals between 11am and 3pm  on Saturday 2nd December at the Salvation Army248 Norwood Road SE27 0AW . Their ambitious plans include 500 homes at market rents, workspaces  and a new footbridge to Leigham Vale.

A decision on planning application 16/04089 to widen the road access to Knollys Goods Yard will be delayed until any decision on a planning application for Knollys Goods Yard

Plans for Knollys Goods Yard

wp_20160630_17_04_30_richDevelopers have submitted planning application 16/04089 to widen the access to Knollys Goods Yard. This triangular shaped land is surrounded by railway tracks and has only one access point by Cameron Place SW16 2HQ, off Knollys Road.  The plan is to turn the narrow one-way entrance, pictured above,  into two-lanes with a raised pavement for pedestrians [see picture right]knollys-bridge

For more information and to comment on the planning application quote ref 16/04089 on the Lambeth Planning Portal   Deadline for comments is 30th November.

Developers are working on plans to develop a new neighbourhood in Knollys Goods Yard with work spaces and new homes. To attend a workshop discussing this new neighbourhood contact 020 7234 3337.  There will be a public consultation event early in 2017.
