Cyclists asked for changes near Elmcourt Road and there is an opportunity to see & comment on the revised plans to improve cycling in Norwood Road on Wednesday 21st June between 6pm to 7pm at Bon Velo bike shop 495 Norwood Road SE27 9DJ.
StreetWorks is a community-led project to improve Norwood Road between Robson Road and Tulse Hill station (and in the longer term the one-way system at Tulse Hill) with funding from Transport for London and supported by Lambeth council.

West Norwood now has its own cycle shop – Bon Velo at 495 Norwood Road SE27 9DJ ( in the former Conservative Association shop) run by John & Karina. The shop sells a range of adult and children’s bikes and there is a cycle maintenance service too. Bon Velo also sells coffee!

Protesters against car culture and oil dependency will be cycling naked to Hyde Park on Saturday 14th June.
West Norwood is one of the starting points for the 2014 World Naked Bike Ride in London. Cyclists will leave West Norwood Station SE27 around 2.30pm to pedal via Vauxhall & Westminster to Hyde Park.
