Progress on Swimming Pool

Derelict Norwood Hall

Derelict Norwood Hall

West Norwood’s 25m swimming pool, 100 station gym, dance studio & health centre passed another hurdle this week. The NHS has agreed Lambeth council’s final plans and now it is just up to the government to give the final go ahead. The new centre is to be built close to the derelict Norwood Hall on Devane Way opposite West Norwood Rail station.

The £14.2m project includes  £20,000 for public art. Let us know your ideas for a painting or  sculpture to complement this great new resource for West Norwood ( email jmeldrum@lambeth.gov.uk)

This is a really good plan. will this leisure centre include a creche or facilities for young children? I would love to use the facilities but I also need to collect my son from nearby school after work. Please say yes!!
